I put kick start down on the magnolias and flowers. It worked nice. I heard it works on lawns too but I haven't tried it yet, I am going to do it in the spring.

Questions and Answers
Q: what is the recommended method to apply/water in kick start?
Asked by: brian - 3/14/2014
A: The best method of applying Kick Start is with an Ortho Dial n Spray and place the setting on 1 Oz and spray over an area of 5,000 Sq Ft until the liquid in the bottle runs out.

Q: This product ships dry, powder taking up part of a larger container. I don't see a place on the package instructing how much water to add to make up the concentrate. Do I just fill the Kick Start container to the spout with water, put the cap on, and shake? (I do understand the next step, that once I've made up the liquid concentrate, application is one ounce of concentrate per gallon of water.)
Asked by: Bazz - 4/14/2014
A: Fill the bottle up and leave about an inch of room at the top so you can shake the bottle and create the concentrate solution.

Q: i sprayed Kick Start on my lawn today. Before I started it looked like it might rain so I called a nursery and asked if that would be a problem - I was told it would not if I added some Wilt Pruf. I did, it rained enough to just wet the ground, but now as I think about it, wouldn't it have worked as well without the Wilt Pruf because the Kick Start is supposed to be for the roots. Was it unnecessary to add the Wilt Pruf or was it good that i did?
Asked by: Betty - 11/2/2013
A: It was unnecessary to add Wilt Pruf to your lawn. Wilt Pruf is not supposed to be used on lawns and the Kick Start would have been fine with being slightly watered in.

Q:  the container of"kickstart" fertilizer booster says to mix the powder with a gallon of water. It says that it will cover 5.000 square feet. How can a gallon of liquid be spread over 5,000 sq feet? Did I miss something? Please explain how to use kickstart.
Asked by: Barbara - 4/5/2014
A: You should first add water to the bottle and shake the bottle. That will create a concentrate solution. The best method of application is to use the Ortho Dial n Spray sprayer and put the concentrated solution into the Dial n Spray. You would then put the setting to 1oz, which would mix the solution at 1 Oz per gallon of water. You would spray over 5,000 Sq Ft and move quick with it. You do not need to spray a lot of Kick Start over your lawn because it is a very effective product.

A: Kick Start is comprised of humic acids and micronutrients used for root growth and root stimulation.
