Turf Trust is a premium, professional lawn fertilizer, uniquely implemented with a chemical compound named Crotonylene Diurea, or CDU, to create a strong, healthy lawn.

  • Feeds lawns for 12-14 weeks
  • Great for sunny and shady lawns
  • High in water insoluble nitrogen - maximizing the long-term effects of the fertilizer
  • 2% Phosphate - helping eliminate the risk of runoff and builds a strong root system
  • 12% Potassium implements good root development and cell wall growth
  • Feeds slowly - less mowing!

Turf Trust Fertilizer uses CDU, which will help prevent summer lawn diseases, such as brown patch. It is recommended that Turf Trust be applied four times a year – once in early spring, summer, early fall and again in late fall.

Rating Great program!
The Turf Trust lawn program has made noticeable improvement with just one application. I'm very impressed that my lawn still looks great after 4 weeks of the application. I'd recommend this to anyone!

Rating Turf Trust Fertilizer
Turf Trust is the only fertilizer I've used for several years and my lawn couldn't look any better. It really does last for several months and it helps during the summer when other lawns are brown and mine is still green. Two green thumbs up!

Rating Turf Trust Review
I've been very impressed with Turf Trust for years. I use to live in Virginia and used it regularly, but I moved to Illinois and can not find it near me. It's a big difference from the weed & feed I was using with Scotts before. I burned my lawn several times using Scotts and I never thought it was because of the fertilizer. Since using Turf Trust, my lawn stays green year-round and I very rarely get brown patches in my lawn anymore. I would give it 5 stars, but it's not at a store by me anymore, so I'm giving it 4 stars, but I love the product!

Rating Turf Trust Lawn Fertilizer Review
Turf Trust is by far the best lawn fertilizer I have ever used. After one application, my lawn was noticeably better. After two applications, my lawn was extremely thick and lush. After three applications, the root system was so strong it suppressed the weeds. I have no complaints with this fertilizer.

Q:  Does turf trust spring feeding also have pre-emergent weed killer in it?
Asked by: Joe Paulini - 1/28/2014
A: Turf Trust Lawn Fertilizer is strictly a lawn fertilizer. There is a Turf Trust brand pre-emergent for broadleaf weeds and a Turf Trust brand pre-emergent for crabgrass. It's better to apply them separately because the spreader settings will be different, but you can apply them all on the same day.

Q: I just planted a new lawn from seed on September 30th. The lawn is 28,000 square feet. The lawn had 10-10-10 of chemical fertilizer tilled in before seeding. On November 9th we put down a second coat of 10-10-10. The lawn was low in nutrients. When should I next feed the lawn with Turf Trust, and how much should I use? Thanks.
Asked by: Ginger - 11/15/2013
A: The next application of Turf Trust should be in the Spring, usually early March. You should use 3 bags of the 10,000 Sq Ft size or 6 bags of the 5,000 Sq Ft size to get full coverage of your lawn.

Q: I planted grass seeds, top soil and straw on a bare area on my lawn about 1 month ago. The grass is now growing through the straw. Can I now fertilize this area with Turf Trust Fertilizer? The guy at Roozen's Nursery said that I could. Just want to be sure.
Asked by: Greg J - 8/21/2014
A: If you move some straw out of the way and see no grass has germinated, then you will not have germination starting after a month and fertilizing will not help it germinate. You should try again, but add Leaf-Gro Compost under the grass, then apply the seed, and add another thin layer of Leaf-Gro Compost to cover the seed. Keep the seed moist - not too wet and not dry. This usually means watering the seed once in the morning. You can fertilize at the same time as seeding with the 24-2-12 Turf Trust.
